OLD BRIDGE, N.J. -- Monday's 4 X 400 at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions was top heavy with big football recruits Elijah Shumate and Leonte Carroo leading Don Bosco Prep to the title. Another well-known football recruit, Devin Fuller, had a strong opening leg while leading Old Tappan Northern Valley to a third place finish. Check out the video of the race.

Four-star safety Elijah Shumate ran a 49.6-second second leg and four-star receiver Leonte Carroo ran a 47.2-second anchor leg to lead Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) to the 4 X 400 title Monday in the resumption of NJSIAA Meet of Champions, which was stopped late Thursday because of weather delays.

Also, four-star quarterback Devin Fuller ran a 48.8-second opening leg to help Old Tappan Northern Valley High finish third in a time of 3:18.46.
