Irish Add Jones to Class

Jarron Jones of Rochester (NY) Aquinas Institute has joined Notre Dame's growing class of 2012.

Notre Dame added to the class of 2012 on Monday when defensive tackle Jarron Jones of Rochester (NY) Aquinas Institute gave his pledge to the Irish.

Jones, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive tackle is a Scout.com 5-star prospect who had given Penn State an early verbal pledge before backing away and taking a stronger look at the Irish program.

Jones is the 14th verbal pledge to Brian Kelly for the Class of 2012.
