Two Chicago area teams, Julian High and Robeson High square off during a rainy Sunday afternoon at Gately Stadium in Chicago.
Perhaps the biggest storyline is that of the late Saturday night commitment of Demetrious Cooper to Michigan State. The newest Spartan takes the field less that 12 hours after choosing his college destination.
The standout defensive end from Julian High tripped to Michigan State during the summer and has had the Spartans on the top of his list.
Fellow Julien standout Khairi Bailey remains uncommitted and has offers from Purdue, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, and Western Michigan. The two combine to make Julian's defensive line one of the strengths of the team.
On the other hand, Robeson High is highlighted by under the radar running back Devon Sanders.
Sanders picked up his first offer in early August, and it was from Purdue.
The smaller, feature back, looks to set himself apart this season and grab some more offers in the meantime.
For all three prospects their season begins Sunday afternoon, and FOXSports NEXT will be on hand. Check back for the latest updates.
