A look at how Notre Dame's committed players fared on the gridiron last week.

A look at how Notre Dame's committed members of the 2013 and 2014 classes fared last weekend:

Eagles Landing Christian (McDonough, Ga.) defensive lineman Isaac Rochell suffered a hand injury and was limited to playing a half in a 32-7 win against Briarwood Christian.

Cinco Ranch (Katy, Texas) running back Jamel James suffered a leg injury and was on crutches after the game. He finished with 97 total yards and two touchdowns, both of which came in the first quarter.

Colin McGovern played on the offensive line as Lincoln-Way West beat Lincoln-Way Central 27-9.

Archbishop Alter beat Guerin Catholic and quarterback Malik Zaire was efficient and productive. He was 6 of 7 for 142 yards and two scores, and he rushed nine times for 76 yards and two scores in a 49-21 win.

Barron Collier (Naples, Fla.) tight end Mike Heuerman didn't have any catches in a 27-0 win against Braddock, but he made seven tackles playing defensive end.

Wyomissing (Pa.) High linebacker Alex Anzalone was part of a defense that shutout Schuylkill Haven (Pa.) 37-0 to open the season.

Devin Butler had four catches as Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) beat McDonogh 33-13.

Roman Catholic (Philadelphia) and four-star receiver Will Fuller rallied for a big win in a 28-27 defeat of Malvern (Pa.) Prep to open the season.

Midland (Mich.) High beat Davidson 31-20 as Steven Elmer played on the offensive line.

Bishop Hartley defensive end Jacob Matuska had one catch for 20 yards in a 42-7 win against Columbus University.

American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) linebacker Michael Deeb had eight tackles in a 48-6 win against Clewiston.

Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul) receiver James Onwualu had a 32-yard touchdown catch and a 94-yard interception return for a score in a 34-24 win over East Ridge.

Mead (Spokane, Wash.) outside linebacker Danny Mattingly had eight tackles in a 43-10 win against University.

Jaylon Smith scored three times, including a 10-yard touchdown run to lead Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, Ind.) to a 31-6 win over Southside.

Class of 2014 receiver Justin Brent of Speedway (Indianapolis) had four catches in a 54-21 win against Beech Grove.
