"I'm down to seven schools," Willis said. "I have Nebraska, LSU, Florida State, Arizona State, Virginia, UCLA and Notre Dame and that's in no order. I already visited Nebraska and I have three more trips lined up right now.
"I'm going to Florida State this weekend when they host Florida and that should be a great visit. I've been to Florida a few times but haven't visited the actual campus at Florida State. My step dad grew up a big Noles fan and he's coming with me so it should be fun."
Next up for Willis will be visits to Virginia (Nov. 30) and LSU (Dec. 14).
"I like Coach Moore a lot at Virginia and I have family that plays there as well," Willis said. "Plus it's a great academic school in a beautiful area. LSU has a great program and is known for producing big time defensive backs.
"I'm keeping that last visit open right now. I'm planning to commit at the Under Armour All-American game January 5 so I could take that last visit after my announcement. I was going to wait until Signing Day before I committed but I didn't think that would be fair to lead the other schools on that long and plus this way, I can help recruit for whatever school I commit to."
Willis was just at UCLA this past weekend to see the Bruins big win over USC and said he had a very good time in the Rose Bowl.
"I loved it there, I always do when I visit UCLA," Willis said. "They played great and the crowd was loud and had a lot of energy. Coach Mora has done a great job there and I have a great relationship with him and Coach Martin, the DB coach. They're definitely building something there and I have a great comfort level with the program."
