Bere Visits Buckeyes

Sycamore (OH) linebacker Tinashe Bere was on hand to watch Ohio State defeat Michigan Saturday afternoon. Check out how the visit to Columbus went for the junior.

6-foot-1, 215 pound linebacker Tinashe Bere has picked up offers from Illinois and Purdue during his junior season. He has also been hearing from Ohio State. On Saturday afternoon, he made the trip to Columbus to watch the Buckeyes play arch-rival Michigan.

"The game was amazing," said Bere. "I could sense the tension."

Bere didn't get a chance to talk with the coaches but nonetheless had a great time.

"The atmosphere was really cool and so loud and the team looked great. It was kind of sad that it was their last game."

The junior also attended the Buckeyes' game against Nebraska and definitely says that there definitely was a difference in the two games.

"This game was definitely rowdier. Coach Meyer has done a great job with the team."

So how did the visit affect Bere's opinion of Ohio State?

"It made me like them more."

Now that his football season is over, Bere will be focusing on wrestling and does not plan to take any visits before the summer.
