Augusta Ready To Announce Decision

Peoria (IL) defensive tackle Josh Augusta has been a primary target for the Missouri Tigers to add to their 2013 class for help along the defensive line. The big defender seems to have it figured out where he will play next year.

Following a weekend in-home visit with Missouri Head Coach Gary Pinkel and Assistant Coach Cornell Ford, 2013 DT prospect Josh Augusta  6’5”  305    Peoria (IL) spoke briefly with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he updated us on his recruitment.   “The visit was good,”  said Augusta.   “They just came down to see where I was at, and to make sure that we didn’t have any questions, to make sure that they hit on everything.”

Augusta said that he didn’t have any questions for the Missouri coaches.

“I just told them that I’m going to make my decision on Sunday,”   said Augusta, referring to January 20.

I asked Augusta if he was still going to take his previously scheduled visits to Illinois and Michigan State?

“I decided not to take those (visits), because I really don’t have time to do it,”  replied Augusta, who indicated that Missouri is still his top school.

It won’t be long before we know where the big man is going to sign.

ShowMeMizzou.com will have more Josh Augusta's announcement.
