Hill eager to visit Notre Dame

Wide receiver K.J. Hill of North Little Rock (Ark.) High exploded onto the recruiting scene this spring, adding offers from all over the country. He goes in-depth about his offer from Notre Dame.

Notre Dame was part of a flurry of offers in March for three-star wide receiver K.J. Hill. He picked up over 10 offers in one month, including Arizona State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas Tech and South Carolina.

"I'm definitely interested in Notre Dame," Hill said. "They have the tradition and they throw the ball. I grew up watching them on TV. They were also just in the national championship two years ago."

Hill had plans to visit Notre Dame next weekend for the Blue & Gold game, but due to transportation issues, he's looking to find another date to head to South Bend.

"I was planning on visiting Notre Dame for the spring game, but I can't go anymore," Hill said. "I am going to the NFTC in Dallas this weekend, so it's a lot of travel at this point. I want to get up there this summer, hopefully. If not then, I'll visit in the fall."

"Coach (Bob) Elliott likes me in the slot," Hill said. "I know they want a slot wide receiver in this class."

Hill said he was highest on Alabama and Oklahoma State earlier this spring, but he remains to all possibilities at this point.

"I'll come out with a top five this summer, and those will be the five schools that I take my official visits to," Hill said. "I will be looking at how good of a school it is, how the coaches develop their players, and if it's a spread offense."

Hill finished his junior year catching 83 passes for 1,210 yards and 20 touchdowns, as well as compiling 2,071 all-purpose yards and 26 total touchdowns.

"I get yards after the catch well, and I have a good playmaking ability," Hill said. "I'm good at making people miss with my moves and my speed."

Hill is a three-star prospect and is ranked as the No. 47 wide receiver in the class of 2015.
