All-American Sets Three Visits

LB Kyle Williams

Kyle "Bone Crusher" Williams is verbally committed to Iowa but that commitment may be soft as he schedules a December 12 official visit with Miami and a January 9 official visit the Oregon Ducks.

Kyle "Bone Crusher" Williams has lived up to his hype and them some in 2003. TheInsiders.com All-American led his team to a 8-1 regular season record. A push for a state championship for the Raiders begins this Saturday.

Williams gave Iowa his verbal commitment on October 1st and he's scheduled to visit the Hawkeyes on December 5th but that won't be his last visit.

"I'm going to visit Miami (12-12) and Oregon (1-9)," said Williams.

"I'm still committed to Iowa but I want to see what else is out there. Iowa is the only thing I know right now."

So far in 2003, Williams has 98 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, six sacks and four interceptions.

On the offensive side of the ball, Kyle has rushed for 1,013 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Extra Point- Recruiting is and always will be unpredictable. Kyle Williams was an Iowa lean long before his verbal commitment and barring something totally unexpected, he'll sign with Iowa in February. He visits Iowa on December 5th and I wouldn't be surprised if he cancelled his remaining visits after visiting the Hawks.

On the flip side, Oregon and Miami want Williams in the worst way and anything can happen in recruiting. They will be in Bolingbrook for in-home visits in December trying to put there best foot forward. Miami has two more things working for them. 1. Miami is the best official visit in the country, with UCLA being a close second. 2. The Canes could be playing for a National Championship in January and that could work in their favor as well.

We could have more on this situation by late afternoon.
