Jason Lamb has had a good start to his early recruiting. "I have offers from Baylor, Illinois. North Carolina, Mississippi State, Tulsa, and Wyoming so far," said Lamb. "Texas Tech and Kansas State said they are close to offering me."
Lamb says he hasn't made many summer plans so far. "I'm not sure where I plan to visit. I might visit some schools this summer," he said. When asked about still planning to attend Notre Dame camp, "Not sure if I am going to get up there," said Lamb.
The Richardson native has already visted a number of schools in the past. "I have been to Tech (Texas Tech), (Texas)A&M, Baylor, SMU, and K-State."
We asked Lamb if he kept in touch with coaches from any of the programs recruiting him. "I keep in touch with the Baylor, Texas Tech, Notre Dame and K-State," Lamb said.
Lamb is unsure when he plans to decide. "I don't know when I plan to decide. It will probably depend on what offers I get," said Lamb. "Academics will be important--definitely to have a diploma that means something."
Does Lamb have any favorites at this point? "I really don't know. Pretty much those schools that are recruiting me. We'll see what happens."
Lamb said he recently scored 1,040 on his SAT and current has a 2.6 g.p.a.
Comments: Lamb appears pretty open at this point. He doesn't appear to be attending Notre Dame camp. Notre Dame does seem interested, and he seems to like the Irish. We'll keep an eye on him and see if the Irish pick up interest in Lamb.
