"Right now, I have offers from West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Boston College, Rutgers, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Indiana and Purdue." said Joe Brockington. Joe didn't have any idea what his stats were last year and said he didn't plan to attend camp anywhere this summer.
Joe does plan to take some unofficial visits this summer and has already been to a few schools. "I have already been to Pitt, West Virginia and Maryland. I plan to go see Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame and then I will head south and check out some schools like Georgia Tech."
Joe is set with academics with a 3.34 core g.p.a. and score a 930 on his test. I asked Joe what would be important in his decision when he decides on a school. "I want to feel like I fit in. With the coaches and the players. That will be most important to me."
Joe said he didn't really have any time frame. "I wanted to commit early but I think I will wait. I haven't really decided yet. I don't have any favorites and I am wide open right now because I don't know enough about the schools to really list any favorites."
Comments. Another player they really like. I think ND has a shot. I don't think he is leaning one way or another. He did say he thought he would probably end up going to a school out of state. We will know more after he visits Notre Dame and can sit down with Willingham.
