*Head coach Charlie Weis walked into Wednesday’s press conference bundled up in a sweatshirt and a sharp-looking Notre Dame jacket. The weather outside in South Bend was temperatures in the low 30’s with a nice, cold breeze. For Saturday’s contest with North Carolina, it’s expected to be a high of 45 and rainy. Not optimal conditions for a southern school traveling north.
