Duluth High (Ga.) head football coach Richard Gillespie and his players are going on a ski trip the last weekend in January, in reward for a lot of hard work in the weight room so far this offseason. Alex Hunt isn't going. He has better plans. One of the better running backs in the 2008 recruiting class, Hunt and his parents will be in South Bend for Notre Dame's junior day.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Alex Hunt has always been an Irish fan and couldn't miss out on seeing the campus, even if it cost him a ski trip with his teammates. "I'm looking forward to seeing the stadium, the facilities where the players train at, and meet the coaches," Hunt said.
