Notre Dame hasn’t taken interest in many safety prospects this year, but one recruit the Irish like is Dan McCarthy of Cardinal Mooney High School (Youngstown, Ohio). McCarthy has been getting attention from a number of top programs from around the country and the Irish are trying to fend them off.
