SOUTH BEND, IN- Navy came into Saturday’s contest with the nation’s best ground attack. The Midshipmen were averaging 342 yards per game on the ground and the triple option offense under head coach Paul Johnson has been extremely successful in putting points up on the board. The Notre Dame defense did keep Navy underneath their average but struggled at times to contain the attack.
