By Steve Wiltfong Date: Nov 7, 2007 SOUTH BEND - Good thing Luke Harangody was available, because the Notre Dame basketball team needed him Wednesday night. The 6-foot-8, 245-pound sophomore missed the Irish’s first exhibition game last Friday with a torn ligament in his right thumb, but he had his cast removed on Tuesday, and was set to go for the team’s final tune-up before the regular season.
