Matt Barkley has yet to give recruiting much thought, as he was focused on Mater Dei High and what his team was doing this past season. In the brief moments he did think about his college future, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound five-star quarterback from Santa Ana, Calif., couldn’t even consider Notre Dame.
