Koehne Has "Great Feet"

Koehne was an all-state player as a junior.

In this past recruiting class, Notre Dame was able to secure a signature from Braxston Cave, perhaps the best offensive lineman in the state of Indiana. The Irish coaching staff is targeting a few of the Hoosier state's best in the trenches again this year, and they have their eyes on Kyle Koehne.

During the fall, Notre Dame defensive coordinator Corwin Brown made a trip down to Koehne's Indianapolis Cathedral High School. The Irish have been hitting him with regular mail, and the 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive tackle will be attending the Irish's junior day on Sunday. "I'm pretty excited," Koehne stated.
