Eyes on LA

Steve Sarkisian and Pete Carroll were on hand to witness one of the more talent laden games in Los Angeles last week. Who were they watching, and how did those players look?

It wasn't until after I had blocked the black Escalade's way into the parking lot that I realized it was Washington Head Coach Steve Sarkisian. Seems the lead Dawg had more pull than I did in getting the parking lot gate unlocked. I drafted the big Escalade right into the now open parking lot and went to see Narbonne take on LA Jordan.

Shortly after the game started USC Head Coach Pete Carroll showed up. The teacher and former pupil exchanged pleasantries and made the rounds shaking hands to see and be seen at the important LA city match up that featured several top prospects including Washington commitment Melvin Davis, 4-Star safety Sean Parker, Boise State commitment Bryan Douglas, and sleeper athlete DeShawn Beck among others.

Sarkisian was busy last Thursday; he also made his way to the Crenshaw/Birmingham and saw one of Scout's first 5-Stars for the Class of 2011 among others.
