Irish Headed to Big Easy

Notre Dame to take on Old Dominion in New Orleans on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Winners of six straight before succumbing in the Big East semifinals Friday night, Notre Dame was awarded a #6 seed in the 2010 NCAA Tournament.

The Irish will travel south for a 12:25 pm (ET) Thursday game in New Orleans where they'll take on the 11th-seeded Old Dominion Monarchs.

The Monarchs (26-8) were the regular season and post season tournament champions of the Colonial Athletic Association.
