Moore Anxious to Report
"I had a really good visit. I really enjoyed it," Moore said. "I definitely felt like this weekend was a really good visit for me as far as getting to know the guys. I hung out with Cameron Roberson, Lo Wood, Manti Te'o and Louis Nix. I liked all the guys a lot. I'm going to be up there pretty soon, so I was able to get more acquainted with them. Hanging with them made me feel more a part of the team.
"The visit made me a lot more excite about getting up there and getting to work. I liked the defense a lot. I went to some meetings and saw all the schemes that they run. They didn't run a lot of things during the spring game, but they can run a lot stuff out of their blitz packages. I'm really excited because I know it fits my game. Being at the meetings and going to practice made me pumped up and ready go and get in there."
A lot has been made of the tempo of Notre Dame practices this spring. The intensity certainly caught Moore's attention, and he's looking forward to the challenge.
"It's definitely a lot faster than I'm used to," Moore said. "The practices are high intensity, and real fast. It's get in and get out. I'm actually looking forward to it more than I am dreading it. I'm looking at it as a challenge. I know that it's intense and I know that I'll be tired, but I'll just keep working until I get used to it. It's going to be a big jump from working out three or four times a day to doing something every day. It will definitely be a challenge, but I'm looking forward. I like to be pushed hard actually."
"I got a few warning from guys telling me to make sure that I'm in shape, but nothing too bad. They really just reassured me, more than warnings really. Manti told me to just come in ready and just try to be the best player I can be. He said to just keep that attitude and everything should work out fine for me. It was real good to hear that from him because he's making it happen right now."
