"I loved Notre Dame
, it was really cool. I really like the campus and everything about it was nice."
As for his performance, Barksdale felt he had a solid day.
"I did very well in the one-on-one drills. That is where I do my best as I like to compete against other players."
Last season saw Tres move to the forefront as a player to watch with a solid season.
"I started as a sophomore after a couple of players went down with an injury before the season started. I had 37 catches and over 600 yards with 6 touchdowns."
One area that Tres has also done well in is the classroom. He learned firsthand about the educational experience at Notre Dame.
"Last quarter I ended with a 3.93 and have an overall GPA after the past two years of 3.62. Notre Dame showed us in their video about the education value at Notre Dame and how great the professor to student ratio is over other schools."
Other programs Tres has interest in at this time include, Michigan State, Penn State, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati and Michigan. Having camped at only Notre Dame and Ohio State, Tres is also looking to attend a couple of more camps this month.
With his combined athletic and academic skills, Tres Barksdale is a player Irish fans better remember.
