Michael Bell had a good season last year catching 31 passes for 432 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also played some safety and corner last year. "I think I am more of a receiver. I think most schools will recruit me as a receiver."
The Ohio prospect has been getting a lot of attention lately from some of the top programs in the midwest. "I don't have any offers yet. I am receiving letters from Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame, Indiana, South Carolina, Iowa, Michigan State and Pittsburgh."
Bell also has a busy summer planned so far. "I am planning on going to one-day camps and Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State. I have been on unofficial visits to Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State and I have been to Penn State camp before."
The star wide receiver also said he plans to make an early decision. "I want to make an early decision. I want to do it before my season starts if I can. I am looking for a school where I can play early. They don't have to throw the football all the time but I am looking for a passing offense. I also want to go to a school that will win."
Bell said he has a 2.9 core g.p.a. and has yet to take his test.
So does Bell have a leader at this point? "Michigan is my number one school. Ohio State would probably be second and then Notre Dame and Penn State."
Comments. Bell seems to want make an early decision. He will have to take his test before he can be accepted at Notre Dame and receive an offer. The Irish have been writing him and he said he does plan to attend camp. It appears that Michigan is the clear leader at this point.
