Crist a Future Leader
		By Christian McCollum Staff Writer Date: Aug 24, 2008 Freshman quarterback Dayne Crist could end up being a leader for the Fighting Irish even before he's a gameday contributor. Crist says that he is ready to do whatever the team needs from him whether that be helping the offense or pushing the defense on the scout team. Charlie Weis made comments that make it seem likely that Crist would redshirt in '08, but that won't stop Crist from competing.
