		By Mike Frank Date: Jan 3, 2005 Youngstown, Ohio athlete Kyle McCarthy is a new name on the radar for Irish fans. The 6-1, 190-pound athlete played quarterback for Cardinal Mooney high school in Youngstown, Ohio, but the big schools are mostly looking at McCarthy as an athlete. New Irish defensive backs coach Brian Polian visited McCarthy in his home this afternoon and we spoke with the talented athlete to get his thoughts on Notre Dame.
