Brian Smith pressures Sanchez.		By Colin Burns Date: Oct 21, 2007 Going into Saturday’s contest, it was going to be an uphill challenge for Notre Dame to run the ball against USC. The Trojans were fifth nationally against the run while the Irish were dead last in the ground game. Notre Dame’s ability to establish the ground game proved futile again as USC completely shut down the Irish’s rush attack in their 38-0 victory in South Bend.
