Charlie Weis		By Colin Burns Date: Oct 22, 2007 In 2005, more than one pundit predicted Notre Dame would start out 0-6 or 1-5 in Charlie Weis’ first season as head coach. The Irish proved them wrong by getting out of the gates 4-2, including a near upset of top-ranked USC. Coming into 2007, a lot of these same experts predicted another rough start because of the inexperience on the Notre Dame roster. Unfortunately, this time they were right.
