Jimmy Clausen		By Colin Burns Date: Dec 3, 2007 Two years ago, Notre Dame was starting preparations for Ohio State and the Fiesta Bowl. Last season, the Irish hit the practice fields in December to get ready for the LSU Tigers and the Sugar Bowl. This extra practice time will not be a feature of the 2007 Notre Dame team, who will not be going to a bowl after a 3-9 year. It allows the Irish to get a jump start on other off-season priorities.
