2005: Powers-Neal will once again be at fullback. He gives the offense a running threat out of the FB position, although he didn't get many carries last year. He improved blocking and receiving tremendously. Weis has given the fullback a carry or two in most games, but you'll more than likely see the fullback used as a blocker and receiver. 2004: Powers-Neal had a solid season...Had a rushing TD against Purdue and huge receiving TDs against Mich and Tenn. He really improved as a blocker and receiver. Only recorded 4 starts but he was a regular in the offensive rotation. 2003: Powers-Neal started 8 games at FB and played in all 12 games. He struggled ealry due to the transition from RB, but did improve as the season moved on. 2002: Played in 10 games. Was slowed by injuries throughout the year. Had 100 yards vs. Stanford. He is a tough runner and is difficult to bring down once he gets going. 2001: Did not see action as a reserve RB. High School: Played both RB and LB. Rushed for 1,938 yards on 187 attempts, 30 TDs. 447 receiving yards and 8 TDs. His team played fellow recruit Mark LeVoir's team in the state title game.
