| Jackson is a big, strong receiver that uses his size to his advantage getting open and getting separation once the ball is thrown. He is a tough player that isn't afraid to sacrifice his body. |
| Biography: |
A good-sized wide receiver prospect, Jackson had a remarkable junior campaign (12-1 record) with 72 receptions for 1,272 yards with 11 touchdowns. He is a standout on the defensive side of the ball as well. He recorded 41 tackles with three interceptions. For his efforts he was named 1st Team All-Central Florida, 1st Team All Area, 1st Team All District, 2nd Team All State.
Final senior season notes: Jackson ended his season with a "heartbreaker loss to Edgewater (Orlando)." East Ridge lost the game 27-24 to finish the season at 10-1. Jackson finished with 46 catches for 536 yards and five touchdowns. On defense he had six interceptions.
Scout Report:
Jackson plays the game with the same kind of guts and toughness. He isn't afraid to
go over the middle. He punishes defensive backs for the extra yard, and he has
excellent hands. Jackson spots the ball well early and makes adjustments while
it's in the air. He has good size at 6-2 and 195 pounds, and he knows how to use
his size to his advantage.
Jackson: "I really like to get physical with a DB on the field. I really don't mind if they jam me…I really want them to do that because I'll just end up pushing them off the line. I want to work on my speed, strength and agility."
