| As a junior (7-5 record), he threw for 3,100 yards (58%) and 27 touchdowns, along with 17 interceptions; Vertical Jump: 29". Lyon was named second team all-league.
Chuck Lyon, Tyler's father, reports a 3.2/1090 SAT--retest unset.
Lyon: "I run well for how big I am. I have good mobility, a good arm and good size. I am still kind of learning everything since last year was my first as a quarterback."
Chuck Lyon: "His arm strength is excellent. And he moves well for a kid his size. He's better than average at running as a 6-6 guy. I don't think he quite sees the field like he should. But his learning curve should improve tremendously this year. He needs to read defenses better."
