| The top cornerback in the West, Warren is a special talent who is everything you want in a corner. Has good feet and hips, and has a nice burst. |
| Biography: |
| Another in a long-line of gifted cornerbacks from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, Warren has gone up against some of the elite receivers in the nation in practice the last couple of years, as Poly has produced some of the best receivers nationally. As a junior, Warren had 51 tackles and one interception while playing opposite USC signee Vincent Joseph for the talented Jackrabbits secondary.
Partial senior season (3-1) stats: approx 20 tackles/1 interception; 5 rushing TDs and 1 receiving score.
Warren reports a 2.9 core GPA and an 880 SAT--"I'm already qualified but I'm going to retake the test again in November just to get a better score."
Warren: "I know that I’ll be able to contribute wherever I go. I’m smart and I have good fundamentals. I’m fast and I’m physical with the receivers. I'm just a tall, athletic corner. I can cover and I'm quick.
"I think I can get better at going one-on-one with different receivers…knowing what they are going to do before they do and reacting quicker. I also need to work on reading QB drops."
