Moore, much like Cody Hawkins the year before him, is one of the most underappreciated quarterbacks out west. If he was two inches taller and a tenth faster, he'd be on the national radar. One of the most consistent performers to have ever come out of state of Washington, Moore will not knock you out with superior athleticism or a cannon for an arm. All he does is pick defenses apart with his ability to make correct decisions on every play.
Biography:
Led Prosser to 13-1 record in 2005 and shattered state passing records along the way. He racked up more than 4,600 air yards and a mind-numbing 66 TD passes (vs. just 15 INTs). He also had more completions (316 out of 481 attempts) in a season than anyone in the state's history. The Tri-City Herald named him All-Area MVP -- no small feat considering that his competition for the honor included fellow junior Jason Munns from Southridge High. Moore also was voted first-team Class 3A All-State, beating out another touted athlete for that honor (UW-bound Jake Locker of Ferndale).
