| Possessing good size and, for the most part, reliable hands, McKnight made a successful return to the field in ‘06. Offers the tools to be an effective second receiver and a solid fit for a West Coast offense. |
| Biography: |
Posted career-best totals of 67/907/15 as a senior. Played the
first two games of the ’05 season before tearing a ligament in his
right knee and missing the remainder of the campaign. Junior totals
were 42/610/3.
Pos:
Natural, fluid receiver coming off a sensational season. Displays
outstanding timing, gets vertical and uses his frame to shield away
opponents. Contorts or adjusts to the errant throw, displays eye/hand
coordination and looks the ball in. Comes back into the clearing and
offers the quarterback a nice target. Consistently extends to make the
reception away from his frame. Makes some incredibly acrobatic
receptions at times.
Neg:
Does not show the deep speed or ability to run to the long ball.
Occasionally peaks up the field, lacks strong hands and lets some
catchable throws slip through his fingers. Loses out in battles. |
