Four-year starting infielder at Magnolia Heights School in Senatobia...Earned second-team Jackson Clarion-Ledger All-State, first-team All-MPSA honors and MPSA all-star selection as a senior...Hit .422 with seven doubles, 26 runs scored and 24 RBI...Also pitched, posting a 5-1 record with six complete games and a 1.27 ERA...Recipient of the 2005 Don Souder Award as the Mississippi Private School Association's outstanding male student-athlete for 2005...Hit a career-best .469 and earned second-team All-MPSA honors as a junior...Also starred as a three-year letter-winner in football and basketball, earning first-team All-MPSA and all-star plaudits twice...Tabbed for all-conference honors in both sports...Played summer league baseball for three seasons in Memphis with Dulin's Dodgers...Member of the National Honor Society and the MHS chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes...Served as student council vice president.
