| Thomas is a smaller back but he’s strong and compact. He’s one of those runners that’s tough for a defender to get a clean shot at. Thomas can be slithery and at the last second he can make you miss or make a hard cut. He has the ability to break tackles or change directions. Thomas is blessed to have superior vision and balance. He can run with toughness between the tackles and once he gets to the second level look out. |
| Biography: |
| One of the state's most productive running backs as a junior, Thomas ran for 2,283 yards and 25 touchdowns. He edged out Chris Rainey for tops in Polk County; Thomas benches 315 pounds, squats 440 and has a 36-inch vertical jump.
Thomas reports a 3.4 core GPA and a 910 SAT.
Thomas: "I have great vision and good speed. I can find the opening and can do whatever it takes. I try to capitalize on the defenses' mistakes.
"I want to become a better blocker and am working on my pass protection. I'd also like to see the holes earlier."
