| COLLEGE CAREER: Four-year letterwinner at Notre Dame (2003-2006) finished with 45 tackles (17 solos), 2.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and 7 passes defensed in 31 games played including 13 starts at defensive end… Returned for fifth-year of eligibility in 2006 and posted 31 tackles (10 solos), 1.5 TFLs, 0.5 sacks and 3 passes defensed in 13 games played while starting the final 7 contests and 9 games overall at defensive end… A CoSIDA Academic all-district honoree during initial senior season starting the first 6 games at defensive end in 2005 before suffering a season-ending injury versus USC... Played in seven contests as a junior totaling 7 tackles (4 solos) and 1 pass defensed… Played in 5 games during sophomore year, mainly on special teams while seeing action at defensive end in one game (at Stanford) and was credited with an assisted tackle… Did not see playing time as a freshman defensive end for the Irish… Graduated with a degree in finance.

Selected as conference lineman of the year and California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section Division III first-team defensive end and co-defensive player of the year ... Played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and was selected to the California-Texas Shrine game ... Earned 4 letters in basketball, helping his team win a league title as a senior.
