2006: Received All-ACC second-team honors...finished the 2006 season with 63 career tackles (37 solos), 16.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 quarterback sacks and four pass breakup...has started 24 of the team's last 25 games...started 12 games at defensive tackle...had 23 tackles, including 16 solo stops...made 8.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, forced one fumble and had three pass breakups...earned All-ACC second-team honors.
2005: Started all 12 contests at right defensive tackle...registered 27 tackles (20 solos), 1.5 sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss and one pass breakup.
2004: Worked his way into the rotation at defensive tackle as a true freshman...registered 13 tackles (6 solos) and 1.5 tackles for loss...was listed at number two on the depth chart (behind Tim Bulman) at left tackle...saw his first collegiate action in home opener against Penn State; notched one solo tackle against the Nittany Lions.
High School: Earned All-State, All-North Jersey and All-County honors as a senior at Westwood Regional High School… was a three-year starter ... played on both the offensive and defensive lines ... recorded 75 tackles, 7.5 sacks and four forced fumbles in 2003 ... played for head coach Joe Gambardella ... was selected to play in the 2004 Governor's Bowl, which pits the top high-school seniors in New Jersey against their New York counterparts ... played on Westwood's basketball team as a freshman and sophomore.
