| In 2006 Ryan played in all 12 games, starting the first five. He was third on the team in rushing with 442 yards on 102 carries. Ryan averaged 4.3 yards per carry scoring four touchdowns and only lost two yards all season. He caught one pass for two yards and rushed for a career-best 98 yards on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns at Tennessee. Seven of his carries went for first downs in addition to his two touchdowns. He rushed for 47 yards on 13 carries vs. Wyoming, had 94 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries vs. New Mexico, nine carries for 33 yards vs. Notre Dame and four carries for 49 yards vs. UNLV, including a season-long run of 43 yards. He led the team in rushing in two games (Tennessee, New Mexico). |
