| An absolute assassin from his linebacker position, Jenkins is always in attack mode. Because of his athletic ability and anticipation, he is equally comfortable reading a play to make a tackle as he is forcing the action on a blitz. He’s a sideline to sideline linebacker that is never out of a play because of his athletic gifts and his desire. As he gets bigger in college, he'll be just plain scary. Scott Kennedy, Scout.com |

Jenkins recorded 70 tackles during 2008, he was honored with Gatorade Player of the Year in Maryland for the second consecutive year. He was named Parade All-American, USA Today All-USA Team and selected to the Under Armour All-Star Game.
Jenkins registered 60 tackles, four sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and recovered two fumbles as a junior on defense. He also rushed for 791 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior. He earned first-team Washington-Post All-Met honors.
Jenkins also carries a perfect 4.0 GPA in the classroom. |
