A matchup nightmare for defenses because of his superior size and speed. Thomas played wide receiver in high school and has the size to dominate smaller defensive backs, and the speed to run by bigger linebackers. He has terrific hands, and he’ll simply need to spend some time in the weight room to be able to handle the rigors of blocking on a more regular basis. Scott Kennedy, Scout.com.

Biography:
Logan Thomas played quarterback as a junior and earned first-team All-District and All-Region honors, throwing for 1150 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also rushed for 600 yards and eight touchdowns.

As a sophomore, he caught 54 passes for over 900 yards and eight touchdowns.

He reports a 3.4 core GPA and is taking the SAT in May.

Thomas: "I'm real athletic and I have good field awareness. I study film and I remember it. I play smart and I know what to do. I have great hands and will catch anything that is thrown to me. I just don't let anything stop me.

"To make it in the next level I know I'll need to get faster and stronger. I weight lift a lot and I work with a trainer. I also run track to get my speed up.

"I don't care which position I play as long as it's on offense."
